We stayed at this charming bungalow in a peaceful garden setting. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, allowing us to check in early for a small fee. The shower had hot water and the bathroom was lovely. The breakfast, alternating between pancakes and a delicious egg/bread/potato snack, was a delightful start to the day. The owner went above and beyond, arranging a fantastic trekking guide for us. The cottages were clean and well-equipped, and the owner even took us on a tour of Kalaw. The location is central yet quiet, with a short walk into town.

The guest rooms at Morning Glory Inn are cozy and comfortable. I loved the flat-screen TV with satellite channels, perfect for relaxing after a long day. The private bathroom with complimentary toiletries was a nice touch, making me feel right at home. Having a kettle in the room was convenient for making a cup of tea whenever I wanted. the room had everything I needed for a pleasant stay.

Personally, I wasn't a fan of the rainfall showerhead in the bathroom. But of course, others might enjoy it.

Nestled among lush trees with well-maintained gardens, this place is a hidden gem! The colonial main building boasts stunning views of the rolling hills. The cabins are cozy and equipped with verandahs for sunny days and warm duvets and fan heaters for chilly nights. The breakfast spread is absolutely delicious, with a variety of cooked options, fruits, and bread. The staff is incredibly friendly and always ready to assist with any requests. Best of all, this place offers excellent value for money. I would definitely choose to stay here again!

We had a great Christmas stay at this hotel. The mountain view was absolutely superb and the breakfast provided was really good. The hotel's location was also perfect, as it was situated outside of town but still close enough to easily access amenities. we loved the spacious rooms and the fact that each room had its own terrace with comfortable chairs to relax in.

Although we enjoyed our stay, there were a few aspects that could be improved. The rooms were very basic, with separate shower rooms, which was a bit inconvenient.

The Morning Glory Inn offers amenities such as sound-insulated walls and minibars, making it feel like a luxury retreat in the heart of Kalaw. Just imagine relaxing in your cozy room, sipping on complimentary bottled water, and feeling completely at peace.

clean rooms - peaceful location in the mountains - friendly staff - good breakfast. The bath tub and hot water were great. They provided umbrellas and extra blankets - as well as a space heater. They even delivered amazing chicken noodle soup when I was sick. Plus - they offered a free ride to dinner and the bus.
